Bank Guarantee Fund Signs MoU with Its Taiwanese Counterpart – CDIC

The Bank Guarantee Fund (BFG), which guarantees deposits in banks and credit unions (SKOKs) in Poland, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with its Taiwanese counterpart, the Central Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC), on April 1, 2026.

The MoU was signed by Maciej Szczęsny, President of the Management Board of the BFG, and Annie Cheng, President of CDIC.

The Bank Guarantee Fund guarantees the safety of deposits in banks and credit unions up to the equivalent of €100,000 in Polish zlotys. In the case of the Taiwanese deposit guarantor, the limit is NT$3 million, which at the current exchange rate amounts to approximately PLN 350,000.
